We've had a couple more weekends on the boat and are getting used to being power boaters and liking it. The boat is economical to run and we are averaging 3 gallons an hour. We run at about 12 knots and get to where we want to go comfortably and quickly (compared to sailing).
The new Garmin electronics are installed and I keep myself entertained fiddling with them. The fuel flow sensors are ordered. When I get them installed, we'll have real-time feedback on our fuel consumption and range.
My son came for a Father's Day visit this weekend and the three of us spent the night on the boat. We had a great time and didn't feel cramped at all.
